Though there might be a beautiful rose
amongst the rest of the flowers,
if you get pricked after so many attempts
to remove it from the rest to keep it for yourself but yet it still holds stubbornly in place,
you'll eventually realise that you're wasting your time,
cause no matter how perfect that rose might be,
you'd rather turn to the rest of e flowers
that might not be as perfect,
but willing to be picked over e rest.
